Twenty twenty-two marks the final year of the “Foundations for the Future” Campaign, our five-year effort to raise $2,250,000 for construction of a new health-conscious cooking and dining facility shown below.

The two new buildings planned include a recreation room to promote residents’ wellbeing, study, and relaxation; smartly configured office space that will pave the way to success in our future expansion efforts; a 60-seat dining area and a fully equipped commercial kitchen designed with the nutritional needs of our clients at the forefront. In addition, we will utilize the new commercial kitchen for an ongoing life skills training program for residents arriving with no job skills.

Nearing the end of the campaign, we are thrilled to share that we are well within reach of the final goal. To date, the Foundations for the Future Campaign’s capital efforts have raised just over two million dollars. We are so close; we have instructed our construction team to pull permits and prepare to break ground this year. We sincerely hope that you will consider joining us November 12 to help close out this campaign and finish this desperately needed project.

Our Honored Guest of the morning is MLB Catcher Barry Lyons

Drafted by the Mets in 1982 and making his MLB debut in 1986 for the World Series winning New York Mets, Barry would spend several years playing 50+ games per year backing up Hall of Fame legend Gary Carter.

After 10 years in MLB, Barry left the field of play and created a new goal of bringing professional baseball back to his hometown of Biloxi, MS. After years of work and effort, the Biloxi Shucker's played their first home game on June 6, 2015. Barry continues his relationship with the team to this day acting as Team Ambassador.

Barry will share some stories from the ballpark in addition to his story of facing his demons in 2012. We promise you do not want to miss this! Tickets are limited to just 70 seats so don't hesitate, this event will sell out!
